Camper Chef Bart & Cassie Adventures I: Interview Realityster Tiphany Adams in Lodi, California

I am a big farmer’s market junky and want to live and travel in a Van!

Tiphany Adams is an all-American reality TV personality, actress, model, public speaker and influencer. I met Tiphany in Lodi, CA at one of the top vineyards that northern California has to offer. Cassie Self and I are invited as the first  stop of our documentary about ‘glamping life on the road’ and stay in our super cool glamping tent this weekend. But that is an other story.

Lodi, California, popular from the song by Creedence Clearwater Revival, is a smaller wine region incomparable in size with Napa Valley, but certainly not to be underestimated.

We set up our glamping tent as agreed in the backyard of Bokish Vineyard and look out over 100 beautiful acres of rolling hills. We used all the fun items we picked up in Las Vegas and were ready for Tiphany’s interview in less than an hour.

She arrives at half past seven and I look forward to her arrival.

Her natural smile and endless beauty caress the eye. This girl is full of positive vibes. I feel it. This article is good!

Tiphany had a tragic car accident 19 years ago caused by a drunk driver, who at a speed of 200km / h drove head-on with the car she was in. Tiphany is the only surviving passenger of three in this horrific crash and is taken to the nearest hospital in a helicopter. After a few heavy operations, she has to start serious rehabilitation. A very difficult story to digest. Her young life changed completely at that moment. Tiphany is a fighter and accepts the inevitable verdict that she is half paralyzed for the rest of her life. She was only 17 years old at that time.

Today, twenty years later, I talk to one of the most influential people I have ever met in my life. In her native village Lodi, California.

Her favorite meal is a seafood pasta, which I prepared for our twenty guests today. Thanks to the super cool support of the Bokisch Vinyard, local small markets and shops around the corner provided me with all the ingredients I need to prepare a fantastic Pasta Da Frutti Di Mare based on Lemon Olive Oil. I handle the sauce with a heavy cream. Of course I use a sultry white wine from the vineyard that comes fresh from the barrel. It does not get any better than this. Pepper, salt and the flavors of fresh garlic, thyme and rosemary blow through the vineyard where I cook on a campfire and barbeque. You will find the recipe from A to Z in my cookbook.

Tiphany has a huge reach with her 126,000 followers on Instagram via @tiphanyadams and helps fans on a daily basis, or let me say ‘fellow sufferers’, to look back at life. She talks with a tear in her eye about her role as an example for other people who have life altering accidents that need to find the courage to start again. I ask her what the most impressive story is of someone who has asked for advice. She pauses and says ‘Bart, they are all unique. From someone who asks me how they should us the microwave to a young lady who can no longer drive a car due to her disability.’ She gives the young lady in question the advice to let her ride. That is part of the process of acceptance and it is ok.

What amazes me is that she wants to buy a piece of land in Lodi, California and build a house.

The budget is in her head, but she’s leaving room for a ‘Van’ to travel. Philippe

Leblond is a great inspiration.

In any case, she wants to place more of a priority on traveling. The United States has so much to offer. Discovering her homeland with a van that is completely equipped with a toilet, a shower, a small kitchen and a double bed is all that she needs. Life, travel, a daily workout by the van with weights and a pull-up bar where they can do pull-ups is all they need.

Follow Tiphany Adams via @typhanyadams and enjoy her endless smile and perseverance that we can all learn from.
